The tax cuts passed by Republicans brought wage increases, bonuses, new investments, job growth, and increased 401(k) matching by employers. I will support efforts to further flatten out the tax categories and do away with inheritance taxes, among other efforts. I will also oppose the annual wealth tax being proposed.

I also believe we need to reduce the number of federal government regulations on businesses in order to encourage greater job creation and economic growth. I support annual congressional review of these rules to stop agencies from seizing more power than they are legally granted by Congress and our Constitution.

In District 10, we have more than a dozen opportunity zones that are providing tax benefits to small business owners. We need to expand and invest in these zones to help our local economy rebuild.
